Greetings from TAF! Welcome to our Showcase session! In the 16th session, it was a great pleasure to showcase testRigor, a GenAI powered functional testing platform that can help you accelerate your automation for Web, Mobile, Desktop and API based apps. Optimizing Testing in the Agile Era by leveraging the power of Generating AI: Accelerating Speed with Quality In today’s fast-paced DevOps/Agile world, achieving 100% test coverage within short sprint cycles can be challenging. GTM speed is crucial for enterprise applications, but it should not compromise quality. Prioritizing Risk-Based Testing and leveraging automation are key strategies to ensure adequate coverage within limited timeframes. Additionally, integrating testing earlier in the development process (Shift-Left Testing) helps identify and fix bugs sooner. Cloud-based testing platforms further streamline the process by enabling parallel testing across multiple browsers and devices. By leveraging the power of emerging technologies like GenAI in futuristic Test Automation tools, QA teams can achieve a more efficient and effective testing process, delivering high-quality applications that meet GTM deadlines, even for very complex applications that use AI and other technology integrations. In this session, we showcased such a futuristic platform, called testRigor, which has become a popular Automation platform because of its versatility and ease of use. testRigor works well in Agile development environments, enabling rapid automation and the maintenance effort can be saved significantly as well. TestRigor tests are in plain English, allowing your manual QA team to build, maintain, and update the test cases very easily. Below are some of the unique features/capabilities of testRigor on why should you consider it: How is testRigor different? One platform for almost all layers of your app:build tests for web, mobile, desktop, and API. Create tests faster compared to Selenium by leveraging GenAI (15X or more speed). Minimal time and effort on test maintenance. How testRigor delivers value: Convert your existing workforce from manual testers to test automation engineers. Scale test coverage with minimal maintenance overhead. Get 10x fewer bugs missed to production within months. Deliver higher quality releases faster and with less time spent on regression testing. Plain English Tests  Use plain English to create tests fast, and reduce maintenance significantly.  Forget about dealing with the page HTML structure: refer to any elements from the end-users perspective.  Anyone on the team can easily understand and expand tests (e.g.: add more assertions) Adaptable  Adapt to ever-changing functionality is as simple as using find and replace feature.  Tests survive UI tweaks, UI framework changes, and even underlying architecture migrations. Stable  testRigor automatically addresses all sources of test flakiness, namely:  DOM-change-related instability  Infrastructure-related instability  Page-load related instability Great discussion with testRigor!  It was a pleasure to chat with Artem Golubev, CEO at testRigor. Showcase Series – AIEnsured

Welcome to our Showcase series! When we think about Artificial Intelligence, most of us still think that technologies related to AI or Machine Learning are for the future. But in reality, we have to accept that AI has already made an entry in our day to day lives. Starting from search engines to Digital Assistants like Alexa, Siri or Google Assistant for that matter, to Navigation apps, e-commerce apps, social media AI has impacted our lives in the biggest way possible. AI has conqured almost the entire Digital domain and has become a necesity than luxury. With that said, as AI systems are in their nascent stage today, they are not free from defects, security issues, biases to name a few as it is not possible to thouroughly test them because of lack of matured testing platforms and the skilled talents. Testing AI Apps by manual method is nearly impossbile, quite risky and might compromise the behavior of the system in a major way. In the Showcase session today, we have considered a Testing platform called AIEnsured (www.testaing.com) that helps in conducting comprehensive validation of AI systems (that deals with Images, Texts, Audios, Videos & Time Series data) to ensure a trustworthy and secured deployment. On the risk dimension it ensures that AI products and solutions are tested for security, privacy, fairness/bias and explainability. Whereas, on the quality dimension it ensures coverage, efficiency, performance, and data adequacy. It was an immense honor to host Dr. Srinivas Padmanabhuni in the session. He brought a lot of unique thoughts and insights around AI apart from showcasing the testing platform, AIEnsured. As you might have noticed in the video, Dr. Srinivas and his team, initially formulated a Training course i.e. Certified Tester in Artificial Intelligence (that is going to become an ISTQB certification course in near future). Showcase Series – Qase.io

Welcome to our Automation tools Showcase series! As promised earlier, in each session we’ll consider an automation tool/platform and have a walkthrough to introduce that tool/platform to you so that you can do a better decision making around tool/platform selection. This is our 1st Showcase session and in this session we will discuss about a platform that helps you to organize both of your Manual and Automation testing process. Achieving 100% automation coverage might not be practical always due to several technological reasons or automation cost is beyond the budget for 100% coverage. In that scenario, it makes sense to prioritize our testcases to have a good balance of Manual and Automation testcases. And you might need a testing platform that integrates with your QA process easily to organize your manual and automation test artifacts. In this session, we are going to introduce such a platform to you called QASE (www.qase.io). Qase integrates with Jira, Asana, Slack and other tools in the eco system. Qase has been built keeping both Manual and Automation testing requirements in mind. When our applications/products undergo changes/enhancements, it becomes difficult to keep track of things over a period of time. Qase can help in enabling effective traceability/coverage, keep track of manual and automation testcases, test runs, test reports, defects, collaboration with the stakeholders and so on. “COVID19 pandemic has not changed the market much. However, the pandemic has affected the hiring process. Before pandemic times, you had people from your location/city and were working from office. But now you can hire from all over the world, from another city, another country and so on. For many countries people can see significant boost in their salaries because big companies are not enclosed in their cities but hiring and offering good salaries outside, globally. People from different countries working together as 1 team is what I see as the post pandemic model.” – Nikita Fedorov Founder, Qase The below video covers an overview on Qase. It was a pleasure to meet Nikita and Ilya from Qase today and discussing about their platform. We talked about what was the motivation behind developing such a platform, how the global market is changing due the COVID19 pandemic and most importantly had a great walkthrough on Qase.  The duration of the video is around 36 mins. Wanted to thank the Qase team for their time for this discussion and for providing such informative insights. Hope you find this discussion insightful. Thanks for your attention and time. See you soon in our next showcase session. 2+
